Fleur Sauvage

Inspired by the album Indigo by Korean artist Kim Namjoon, and more specifically by his song Wild Flower, I immerse myself in the fluidity of inks, colliding with paper as though navigating a silent sea. Kim Namjoon’s work has had a decisive impact on my artistic practice ever since.

Striving for authenticity, I let myself be guided by the emotions the music evokes and the feelings that emerge through my artistic exploration. This journey has also reignited my desire to reconnect with what first drove me: the pursuit of artistic experimentation and the exploration of materials.

Through monochromatic inks and variations of blue hues, I weave between the tonalities of a symphony where melancholy and serenity coexist. A slow, steady oscillation between the emptiness of melancholy and the fullness of serenity becomes possible through the acceptance of the self.

Titre 2

"The return to Indian ink and working in volume after the Covid period was a real rebirth for me. I first drew my inspiration from music, carried by the warm and comforting voice of Kim NamJoon. Through his album, his doubts and questions resonated in me, helping me to express them in turn on paper. I thus let go of what I thought I had to do, to finally create what I wanted. This gentle exploration led me to series like Peau d'âme and Bullet Journal"
