Bullet Journal

Bullet Journal, part of the What Remains of Me series, explores fragility and temporality through the use of tissue paper, a delicate and intimate material. This series takes various forms: a grid of small, hand-cut paper rectangles forming a calendar, and experiments in which the same paper is burned.

Each small rectangle, holding a fragment of time or memory, becomes a narrative unit where the material itself bears witness to what endures after disappearance. This approach embodies the idea that the processes of destruction and reconfiguration can serve as acts of resilience and regeneration, with the fragmented traces forming a poetic cartography of existence.

"The creation process, both meticulous and demanding, reflects the very essence of my work: each cut, each transformation requires time, patience, and an almost meditative focus. At times exhausting, this work reveals the tension between the effort invested and the apparent fragility of the result. This process is a necessity for me. These rectangles mirror the various emotions that pass through me over a given period, like a calendar."
